Cecelia Sinclair

  • Cecelia Sinclair, of Hudson, a self-taught artist and Registered Nurse, spends her free time painting the landscapes of the Hudson Valley. Primarily in oils, her signature nocturne scenes are created with mysterious atmospheres and illuminating light effects. Notably, her fourteen-piece body of works entitled “Hudson After Dark” captures the subtle essence of evening light in the City. This brilliant and beautiful exhibit is a true representation of her passion for capturing the dreamy pensive mood of evening cityscapes. She has held one woman shows in various galleries exhibiting this project.

“My journey into art was inspired by my younger sister who bought me a paint set for my twenty fifth birthday and I haven’t put the paint brush down since then. I love painting in my free time and immersing myself in the beauty that surrounds me, living in one of the most beautiful area of New York”.
